Nainekuema Natural Reserve Tour

 

Landscape and cultural tour
 

  • 8:00 am. Meeting with your guide at the hotel, transfers to the river dock on the Amazon River.

  • Departure by speedboat Amazon tour customized to the group, we sail the Amazon upstream to the Community of Santa Sofia.

  • During the tour we have a spectacular panoramic view of the great Amazon River and the jungle.

  • Arrival at the port of the Community of Santa Sofia.

  • Visit to the community, touring the town between houses and crops, we visit the "chagras" traditional crops of Yuca Brava, plantains, tropical fruits like: Copuazú, Arazá, Acaí as well as other fruit species of the region.

  • The native guides will teach us about the use of the soil for the crops, the sowing season and the harvests of fruit species.

  • Then we walk on the path Tucuxira (Flooded forest), during the tour we will make a recognition of botanical species for use in indigenous medicine.

  • After a rest in hammocks, we will make a tour in traditional Canoes on the Nainekuema River, this is a fascinating view of natural landscapes that form rivers of jungle origin.

  • Hiking trail to the port of the Santa Sofia community.

  • Return to Leticia.

  • 5.00 p.m. Arrival at the Leticia pier, transfers to the hotel.
